Our Mission: To gather, recognize and celebrate the continuing annual commitment of each of our member veterinarians to provide some level of absolutely free spay neuter services to the needy animals of their choice, along with any other free services they choose to provide.

Our Lucky Stars
We currently have 8 member veterinarians in private practice and 1 spay neuter clinic participating, representing 9 hospitals in 9 NJ towns.

Together these professionals have generously pledged 226 absolutely free spay neuter surgeries and other services for needy animals in 2011:

The Animal Welfare Association is offering free S/N surgery, rabies & distemper vaccines for Pit Bulls of Camden residents. Call 856-424-2288, Ext 105.

NEW S/N VAN Launched in Newark
The Associated Humane Societies, Inc ( launched their new low cost mobile S/N program and van in Sept. Check website for schedule.This is a low-cost program crafted to lower the #of unwanted cats & dogs arriving @ their Newark branch.

It is always fun to share S/N fund raising ideas! Here’s a great event title. All that’s needed now is the “sauce”...or is it “gravy”?

Thanks to an anonymous donor and $ from the City, Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) San Antonio offered a Free S/N day for cats & dogs of active, reserve & retired military on Veteran’s Day, Nov 11th!

An “Idol” is Ambassador for s/n

Jordin Sparks served as spokes-person for a Nov 16th event auctioning pet collars de-signed by celeb-rities to raise $ for S/N: “Collars for a Cause”. It is always good when S/N is seen as “cool”!
