DOORS OPEN@GLOUCESTER CO. CLINIC
PFA has been selected to run a new clinic built by Gloucester Co., next to the County Animal Shelter in Clayton, NJ. While Gloucester Co. has ½ the population of Union Co. the shelter takes in 4 times as many dogs & cats & has 4 times the euthanasia rate. Hopes are high that S/N’s at this clinic will change that for the better.
KEARNY MAYOR REPORTS TNR RESULTS
The once skeptical Kearny Mayor credits the volunteer run TNR program w/a 60% reduction in the # of stray cats brought to the Bergen County Animal Shelter in Teterboro in the new program's first six mos.
