Our Mission: To gather, recognize and celebrate the continuing annual commitment of each of our member veterinarians to provide some level of absolutely free spay neuter services to the needy animals of their choice, along with any other free services they choose to provide. |

ESSEX CO. TNR PILOT PROGRAM
As of mid-March, re Covid -19 advice, all AHS Mobile Clinic operations have been temporarily suspended. Check AHS for updates.
Thanks to a grant from Essex Co. Freeholders, Associated Humane Societies (AHS) will offer FREE S/N surgeries & rabies/ distemper vacs & ear tipping for Essex Co. feral cats at AHS’s mobile unit on surgery days thru 4-30-20 or til grant $’s are gone.Mandatory eligibility require-ments include: (1) Cats must be both trap-ed & returned to same Essex Co. address. (2) Those pre-senting cats must verify Essex Co. trapping add-ress & commit to return of cat to that location.(3) Cats must be in traps. No carriers allowed.(4) All cats will be eartipped, no exceptions.(5) Confirm-ation of commitment to post-surgical care will be required. (6) Appointments must be made in advance by calling Debbie @ 973-824-7080, Ext. 118. All Essex Co. municipalities R eligible. So far AHS Mobile Van has worked w/ferals in Belleville, Bloomfield, Verona, Garfield, Newark & Essex Fells. Mobile van works 6 days/wk. See Schedule: https://www.ahscares.org/ContentPage/2877.
