Our Lucky Stars
We currently have 10 member veterinarians in private practice and 1 spay neuter clinic participating, representing 9 hospitals in 9 NJ towns.

Despite successful campaigns to persuade prospective owners to adopt shelter pets, about 7 million dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters every year, and there is no evidence that adoptions will increase enough to close the gap, experts say.
The massive number of animals euthanized in shelters” was the secret that no one wanted to talk about or hear about,” even as recently as the 1990’s when 17 million animals were being destroyed annually, says Aimee St. Arnaud of the ASPCA. Now those numbers are being broadcast and the push to spay or neuter is accelerating.

(1) Prevent a litter by spaying/neutering your pet (2) Donate or help a friend or neighbor pay the cost of spaying /neutering their pet.(3) Tell others of the importance of spaying/neutering their pets (4) Keep your pet for life (5) Learn about types of animals and their characteristics before bringing one home (6) Take obedience training with your dog (7) Seek help for behavior problems (8) IDtag/ micro chip your pet.
