PET CARE TIPS FROM WEBMD???
The lines are blurring! I wandered into WebMD’s “FETCH” segment re Pets, (which I did not even know existed!) drawn there by the headline “Risky Mistakes Pet Owners Make.” I wondered what a medical website focused on humans would include in such a list, a list which was medically reviewed by an MD not a Veterinarian. The list of 25 pet-related “human don’ts” did list “you don’t spay or neuter your pets” as “don’t #6” out of 25. The other warnings were also surprisingly helpful and many urged discussion with your veterinarian. SPAY & NEUTER ISLAND PETS (SNIP)
Per Guam’s Governor,a community clinic will start 8-4-22, planning 50 S/Ns /day(400 total for next 8wks) @ the Mongmong-Toto-Maite Mayor’s Office.The Guam Dept.of Agriculture, w/ Guam Animals In Need(GAIN), Boonie Flight Project, the Univ.of Guam & the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office, planned the event w/visiting Vets from Taiwan’s Nat’l Chung Hsing Univ.“Following this kickoff, the SNIP program Main | SNIP Clinic (snipclinicguam.com) will be officially open to the public, operating out of the Dr. Lynn Raulerson Spay & Neuter Clinic @ the Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) animal shelter,” per Gov. Guerrero.
