Our Mission: To gather, recognize and celebrate the continuing annual commitment of each of our member veterinarians to provide some level of absolutely free spay neuter services to the needy animals of their choice, along with any other free services they choose to provide. |

UPDATE: SPATATHON PUERTO RICO
A combined effort of 28 groups, begun in 2018, with a goal, which was exceeded, of providing 30,000 free S/Ns & vaccinations to pets across PR in 1 yr. Also provides HQ-HV S/N training for PR’s vets to provide such services in the future. By early Nov 2019, end of Round 5, effort had treated 43,195 animals. A 6th round was set for Feb.2020! Current plans now unknown. More than 200 quakes have hit PR since end of Dec.! https://www.thesatoproject.org/spayathon

SPAY DAY,TAX FORMS & VALENTINES
It’s FEBRUARY! Still time to plan a “Spay Day” event for a day, a week or a month! Or, send a $ valentine to your favorite shelter, rescue group or non profit.Ask them to earmark your donation for S/N. Or,get a head start on your 2019 NJ State IncomeTaxes & make sure you know how to designate a portion of your payment, or some of the refund you expect, to the State’s Cat & Dog Spay Neuter Fund (Fund #10) which helps under-write low cost S/N for those that qualify. PURR-FECT GIFT FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
World Vets sends teams of volunteers to developing countries requesting veterinary aid. All help provided by World Vets is free. A team typically S/N’s 250-300 animals per campaign.
